Clint Carter
Senior Pastor
ccarter@cedarwoodcommunitychurch.com
(864) 420-3595
Pastor Clint serves as the Senior Pastor of Cedarwood Community Church, where he has a passion for teaching and preaching God’s Word and helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus. He loves being part of Cedarwood—a growing community of faith where people can connect, grow, serve, and experience life together.
God’s call into ministry came during a normal afternoon playing in the backyard at the age of 7. However, he ran from the ministry for many years before finally surrendering to the call.
Before coming to Cedarwood, Clint served at First Baptist Church of Fountain Inn in several ministry roles, including Teaching Pastor, Associate Pastor, Minister of Education and Outreach, Minister of Missions, and Family and Children’s Minister. Those different roles helped shape his heart for the local church, discipleship, missions, and communicating the truth of Scripture in practical ways.
Clint holds a Master of Theological Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and a B.A. in History from Roanoke College.
Clint and his wife, Cathy, have two daughters, Madison and Asheton, and two grandchildren who are a big part of their lives. When he’s not at church, you’ll probably find him spending time with family, playing golf, following his favorite sports teams, reading history, or traveling. He also has a deep love for missions and enjoys opportunities to serve and share the gospel beyond the walls of Cedarwood.

Asheton Hine
Youth Minister
ahine@cedarwoodcommunitychurch.com
(864) 704-7203
Asheton has served as our Youth Minister since 2022 and loves investing in the lives of students and helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Asheton gave her life to Christ when she was 12 years old, and her love for God and His Word continues to shape her life and ministry. One of her favorite things to do is spend time reading and studying her Bible, and she loves helping students discover how God’s Word applies to their everyday lives.
One of the things Asheton loves most about youth ministry is the craziness and chaos that comes with it! Whether she’s teaching a Bible study, spending time with students, or joining in whatever adventure happens to be going on, she loves creating a place where students can have fun, be themselves, and grow in their faith.
Asheton is married to Jordan, and they have a son who was born in 2021. When she isn’t spending time with students or her family, you’ll often find her in the kitchen—she loves to cook.
More than anything, Asheton wants students to know Jesus personally, love His Word, and learn what it means to follow Him in everyday life.
